Dr. Lauryn Spohn, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Lauryn Spohn has been practicing for the past 13 years here in New Mexico. She has worked for a number of practices and also performed shelter and relief work around the Albuquerque area, including Bernalillo, Placitas, Tijeras/Edgewood, Santa Fe and more. She found her calling with mobile veterinary care about 13 years ago and now loves being able to offer even more services to her wonderful clients with a clinic in Bernalillo. With a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and special recognition for her work and understanding of the human-animal bond, she aims to enhance and prolong the relationship that exists between pets and their owners. Her emphasis centers around providing quality care and open communication. She believes in multiple options and treatments for any given case and is prepared to go over the options thoroughly. Every relationship that exists between a pet and their owner is unique. It is that special quality that allows us all to do what is best for our pets. Dr. Spohn currently lives in Placitas with her son, Dezmond, and two dogs: a 140 lb Great Dane rescue, named Marvel (pictured with Ryan), and a 60 lb Pit/Boxer mix named Deagle (pictured here). She was overjoyed when the Pawz To Care Team established a foundation to help assist owners that need financial assistance with their pets. You can learn more about the Belly Foundation by clicking the link below. In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors and loves to go snowboarding, camping, hiking, biking and kayaking. She has a passion for culture and performing arts, specifically musicals… and on occasion, you’ll find her singing along to a favorite children’s tune.
